In diesem Monat übernimmt Starautor Brian Michael Bendis die beiden Comicreihen „Superman“ und „Action Comics“. Erstere wird mit einer neuen Nummer 01 ausgetattet und somit nummerisch neugestartet. Die Reihe „Action Comics“ übernimmt Bendis mit der US-Ausgabe #1001 zum Monatsende.
DC Comics kündigte bereits an, dies mit einem extra produzierten TV-Spot promoten zu wollen. Auf dem hauseigenen YouTube Channel wurde nun ein Videotrailer veröffentlicht, der möglicherweise genau dieser TV-Spot sein könnte. „Superman“ #01 wird am 11. Juli und „Action Comics“ #1001 am 25. Juli in den US-Shops zu finden sein.
