Die Nominierungen für die EISNER AWARDS 2024 stehen fest!

Long time no see...

Ja, ich weiß, ich bin schon seit geraumer Zeit etwas Aktivität auf dieser Seite schuldig und so wirklich passte es viele Monate nicht in die Planung um Familie, Job und allem, was mich sonst noch davon abhält, hier mal wieder einige Posts abzusetzen.

Mit dem jetzigen Beitrag möchte ich zwar nicht sagen, dass sich daran etwas geändert hätte, doch liege ich an einem verdammten Wochenende krank im Bett und muss die Zeit rumkriegen. Und da mich die Nominierungen zu den Eisner Awards 2024 ziemlich aufgerüttelt haben, wollte ich das auf diesem Wege zumindest mit euch teilen. Sofern hier noch jemand liest. Aber wer weiß, was passiert, nicht wahr?

Wer die unten aufgeführte Liste durchforstet, wird merken, dass in diesem Jahr vor allem zwei Aspekte deutlich rausstechen: so stehen die Awards ganz im Sinne von keiner Geringeren als Kelly Thompson, die gleich mehrfach für ihre Werke und auch selbst nominiert wurde.

Außerdem ist der Gigant unter den Indie-Publishern - Image Comics - mit gleich 25 Nominierungen der Verlag, der die meisten Erwähnungen der diesjährigen Comic-Oscars einheimsen konnte. Unabhängig davon, ob diese auch gewonnen werden, verdient das schonmal Respekt.

Der Verleihung selbst findet wie üblich im Rahmen der Comic Con in San Diego, und zwar am 26. Juli 2024 statt. Bis dahin, viel Spaß beim Stöbern.
