Skybound und Image Comics haben mit „Skybound Comet“ ein neues Imprint vorgestellt, welches sich ab 2022 um Original Graphic Novels für junge Erwachsene (Young Adult - ages 12+) sowie Kinder im Alter von 8-12 Jahren kümmern soll.
Drei Titel wurden bereits vorgestellt, wobei eine „The Walking Dead“ OGN mit Clementine, der zentralen Figur aus den „Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead“ Videospielen, am ehesten Aufhorchen lassen dürfte. Die Figur wird bereits im kommenden Monat in der ersten Ausgabe von „Skybound X“ ihr Comicdebüt bei Skybound feiern.
Die Graphic Novel soll nun von Tillie Walden umgesetzt werden, wobei es sich dabei eigentlich um eine Trilogie handelt und „Clementine: Book One“ dabei lediglich der Ausläufer ist.
Weitere angekündigte Titel sind „Everyday Hero Machine Boy“ sowie „Sea Serpent’s Heir Book One“. Weiter unten gibt es detaillierte Infos dazu.
Mit den ersten Releases ist ab Sommer 2022 zu rechnen.
